  • MOD (ePurchasing) and Exostar

To trade on ePurchasing via Exostar, you in fact trade with Exostar, and Exostar relays your messages to ePurchasing which then moves the messages onto the MOD via their CP&F system. We have put the work into securing the Exostar to ePurchasing link, and you interact directly only with Exostar, but you are in effect accessing ePurchasing via the internet.

Exostar provides the following services and applications to MOD (ePurchasing) and their trading partners:

    • Managed Access Gateway (MAG) is used to manage MOD (ePurchasing) suppliers that require access to SCP.  Suppliers are issued a username/password credential by Exostar and ongoing administration of users is managed within MAG.  Managed Access Gateway (MAG) is used to manage MOD (ePurchasing) suppliers that require access to SCP. • The Supply Chain Platform (SCP) improves collaboration between MOD (ePurchasing) and their suppliers for the order management process.  Working in SCP, suppliers can respond to orders and change orders, create electronic shipment notifications and electronic invoices/credit notes.  This information is sent to CP&F for more efficient processing and effective management of exceptions.
