Enable Sending Files from your Team
Exostar takes a deny by default approach and the Send Files Externally capability is disabled for any new or existing team.
This capability must be enabled individually for each team.
Only Sponsor Administrators and Team Managers can enable sending files from within a team. Once enabled, Team Managers and Sponsor Admins with access to the team can send files.
To Enable Send Files Externally:
- Open the Exostar Managed Microsoft 365 Teams app, go to Manage Teams, and select the team from the drop down
- If not already enabled, set Team File Drop to Enabled.
- Set Send Files Externally to Enabled
- Click Save
NOTE: Team File Drop must be enabled to enable Send Files Externally.
