Exostar Secure Messaging Sponsor Administrators are responsible for domain management. Go to Administration → Domains. The Domains table lists your organization’s email domains — primary first, then secondary alphabetically. The primary domain was set at sponsor creation and cannot be changed here.
Add Secondary Domain
To add a secondary domain:
1. Select Add Domain.
2. Enter the domain (e.g. subsidiary.com).
3. Select Add Domain.
Confirmation reads Domain [x] added.
If the domain is already in use by any sponsor, the save is rejected: Domain [domain] is unavailable.
Remove Secondary Domain
To remove a secondary domain:
1. Select the Remove icon on a secondary domain row.
2. If users on that domain hold Sponsor Admin or Manage Threads, removal is blocked. Select View affected users, remove those capabilities, then try again.
3. Otherwise, confirm with Remove.
Existing users on the domain are unaffected. Future users on that domain will be eligible as Participants only.
