Exostar Secure Messaging sends email notifications to alert participants to changes in their access or role, and to new content or activity on their threads. Emails do not include thread subjects, message content, file names, or CUI markings — each notification directs the recipient into the application to see the detail.
One email per message: New-message notifications are sent immediately for each message — there is no digest or batching. High-volume threads generate an email per message per recipient.
